Joining Up

Southern Maryland Regional Library Association is very pleased to announce our participation in the statewide Maryland Libraries Learning 2.0 - 23 Things project. The program will run from July 16 through October 12. Registration will begin July 2nd.

Program Registration
To begin this program, please Register here.
You can cancel your registration anytime.
Registration will begin on July 2nd.

CEUs
This program is worth 1.8 CEUs. To receive CEUs you must log your activities in a tracking log and submit it to your local project liaison. Local liaisons are:

SMRLA is also sponsoring a limited number of Sansa® Express™ MP3 Players as incentives. Ask your liaison how to win one in your county.

Questions?
Please contact your regional project coordinator, Jennifer Falkowski (http://jennifers23things.blogspot.com/), if you have questions about this project. Don't forget that she is not the instructor, though, as we encourage you to visit each other's blogs for ideas and help with the technologies.

Thing 4 Details
To complete Thing #4, you'll need to Register Your Blog. Please use your WORK email address, as registration is monitored. Remember that your blog address can be anonymous on your blog, but your liaison needs to know the address so you can be added to our Participant Blog List. Your liaison will also need your completed Tracking Log at the end of the project.

Our Participant Blog List
Our participant blog list is powered by Bloglines --see the right panel of this page. However, once you register your blog, inclusion in the participant list is not automatic. I will update the blogroll periodically -- once or twice a week, except between Aug. 10-19. In addition to this list, don't forget to check out the blogs from other libraries statewide. You have the opportunity to work with lots of other library people across Maryland.
